I've noticed not too many people actually read this text, so it doesn't really matter what it says now, does it? Hmm. I could put anything here. Wild. You see, this is why I have my own clinic, so I can be just like this. Anyway, you need a doctor, and I know medicine. Give us a call, and I will spend more time with you than you are used to, draw little pictures on the white board, and explain why you need to quit lying to yourself that your blood pressure is well controlled.
About Dr. Flynn
Jerald Flynn, MD is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine. That's even better than being a diplomat because of the extra "e." Also, he doesn't have to spend any time at all wining and dining foreign dignitaries or reading and writing wires from the State Department, which means more time with his patients managing all their problems and telling them to quit smoking. He's really good at telling people to quit smoking--world class. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Washington, if that sort of information is important to you. He did his residency at Oregon Health Sciences University, where he was chief resident for the 2010-2011 academic year. Being chief resident means doing a lot of extra work for very little extra money, which is basically supporting proof that he's a good family doctor. Just so you know, he is a much better physician than he is a website designer. He writes about himself in the third person on occasion.
Services
We see patients by appointment only. Please contact us to establish care or to schedule an appointment. Let us know if you need to be seen soon for an acute issue (such as toothpick stuck in your foot), or if you need more time for one or more chronic conditions (like high blood pressure). If you are having a potentially life-threatening emergency, go to the Emergency Room or call 911.
Home visits and secure telehealth visits are routinely scheduled for patients who require them. Please note telehealth visits can only be offered to patients in Alaska.
We are a preferred provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Tricare. We accept most major insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
Prevention
PREVENTATIVE VISITS
Routine preventative visits are offered with plenty of time with the doctor to make sure all of your questions are answered. If you are a Medicare beneficiary, call us to schedule a Yearly Preventative Physical. If you are new to Medicare, a Welcome to Medicare Exam can be arranged. Veterans, active duty military and their families are always welcome. We understand how hard it is to land in a new town and not know where to start, so give us a call.

CHRONIC CONDITIONS
Dr. Flynn manages a wide variety of chronic conditions. So many. It's mind blowing. Why list them when you could simply imagine?
Dr. Flynn has been treating opioid dependence and opioid misuse disorder since 2011 with Medication Assisted Treatment. He is also certified to prescribe and monitor clozapine for schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder.

Now we're getting to the good stuff. Dr. Flynn's eyes light up when he sees a nice epidermoid cyst, or a fish hook dangling from someone's cheek, a dislocated finger, or lacerated forehead.

Dr. Flynn does some procedures at Providence Seward Medical Center, such as paracenteses. If you or someone you know is carrying around extra intra-abdominal fluid, let us know. His bedside manner is exemplary, and he never ever repeats those stupid jokes of his, ever.
